Re: 1965 GMC 3500 (Big Truck )
I have several vehicles with historic plates and have not been bothered by the law.
In fact, they will almost always wave back or a thumbs up. Here is some more info about historic plate in Pa. http://www.dot.state.pa.us/public/dv...ets/fs-ant.pdf |

I learned that method in high school physics class and used it on my truck. I think the overall result was within 500 lb (10%) when checked at the local grain elevator.
The trick is guessing the % of tire in contact with the pavement due to tread gaps. So I would only use it as an estimate. |

This is very similar to the physics used to calculate loads on airplane wings during flight. |
Re: 1965 GMC 3500 (Big Truck )
I worried about my doubts on mileage because my 1960 1500 has a 6 digit (million mile) odometer and is unlikely ever to "go around."
The five plus 1/10ths do and may have here. |

That's one heck of a truck right there. Hope it has power steering and brakes. lol Might consider an old 3 or 4 speed gear splitter......you'll have a twin stick and extra gears to help accelerate better.
