Instrument Panel Bezel Restoration
Hello. Restoring a 1966 Fleetside long bed C1000. Are there any aftermarket instrument panel bezels that resemble the original one? Or is there anything out there to restore the original? Thanks.

Check out Quigley's post about a place that "re-chrome's" them

Re: Instrument Panel Bezel Restoration
Just a bit of information on the dash panel. There is a place in Tennessee that does many different types of coatings from wood grain, camafaluge and chrome. The name of the place is Nuprint Customs. You rework the part whether it is plastic, steel aluminum or whatever you have. You can bondo it and make any repairs and then send it to them and it comes back perfect. A friend of mine had a console done and it looked perfect, looked factory. I am just refinishing my dash and am going to let them redo it for my truck.
Their number is 423-288-4877. When I get it done and they return it, I will post a before & after photo. Their turn around time is usually 2 week. If anyone decides to do this please keep us posted. John |

Re: Instrument Panel Bezel Restoration
Has any one thought about seeing if they could do plaid valve covers ? from looking at there gallery I would think they should be able to recreate the pattern.

Re: Instrument Panel Bezel Restoration
I am sure that it can be done you would just need one cover as a template.
