Bolt holes in the Engine Block

And so I'm waiting for the paint to dry on the oil pan before installing it, and laying on my back chasing out the pan bolt holes and cleaning the gasket surface. Lying with my feet pointing out the front of the truck, I spot these two 7/16" threaded holes at the very front lip of the block. Looks like they are at the bottom of a cast piece that is bolted onto the front of the block. Is that the timing chain cover? Could you folks tell me what these two holes are for?

Foley, I'm gonna guess that was for a big truck front motor mount application, but it's a guess only. Yoohoo with the photo post!

It's true those holes are for the motor mount in bigger truck applications.
