There's a feature article in the October issue of Vintage Truck magazine about a 1966 GMC pickup owned by Gene and Melanie Vincent of Auburn, Kentucky. The truck was purchased new by Melanie's father, Bob Noah, of Millington, Tennessee. Gene and Bob did a "backyard" on and off restoration on it over a 20 year period, finishing in 2012. It's a half ton long bed wideside with 305 and 3 speed on the column, painted dark blue.

The article doesn't mention our 6066GMC website or forum, so I'm guessing neither Gene nor Bob are members. If anyone out there lives near either Gene or Bob, perhaps you could locate them and tell them about us. You may still be able to find this issue on the newsstands.
