The issue I had with mine was similar. I have a 67 305E in my 64 GMC and the rhinopac 04-528 disc is NOT completely flush on the flywheel side. It has a small nub on the splines that the old one doesn't causing it to ride the pilot bearing. My solution was to machine it down and hope for the best. Pictures wouldn't load onto my computer so I ended up dropping the motor back in and then I came down with a virus so I am out for awhile. haha
