Smile Rear bedroll tail light wires?

I am installing LED tail lights from Wilson's Street Works into the sidewall 'roll' of my 64 GMC. I'd like the wiring from the LED leading down from the side roll light to the stock tail light be 'hidden' inside of the square sidewall support. The wires will descend inside the support column to get electricity from the stock tails below. My question: Are there any tricks anyone might share on how to get the wire from the LED light cylinder into the support column from the roll w/o having the wire exposed at all? Thanks in advance.
