Put 3.54 gears in the rear. This is the best for a 3/4 ton truck. I have done this so many times its hard to remember them all. The t 5 is not a strong tranny and will die if you use a truck as a truck. Nobody used this car trans in any real truck and there is a reason... Honor your tough gmc truck heritage and keep it tough.
