Default Re: '61 Dana 44 BOM?

I rebuilt my 1960 Dana 44. I will dig out the parts I used. What bearings and what seals are you prepared to do?
1. Pinion bearing
2. Carrier bearings
3. Wheel bearings
4. Wheel seals
5. Pinion seal

There is no crush sleeve. The proper way is buy two sets of bearings. One is for calibration. Other is final. The calibration set gets lightly ground to be able to slip on and off. You can do the differential any way you want. Just my advice. I did it per the book. I will post part numbers on Mon if your diff is era correct. The D44's are pretty much the same. Your ring gear will have a date and the ratio. Mine was 3.92 . 4X4. The kits will include a set of shims for all areas.
Do you have a cast marking saying 44? AKA HO35. Is it a drop out or a 10 bolt "corporate"? or is it a newer swap out? Just being sure because lots of things happen to trucks over the years.
