Are these the same mounts that were used on all V6 pickups throughout the years?
Has anyone found a different mount that can be made to work? Even if I could find new ones, I doubt they would stand up to the built V6 that I am going to be swapping into the pickup...[/QUOTE]

Yes, these are the same mounts used in all light duty pickups with manual transmissions including the 67-69 V6 equipped trucks. The other mounts you can use will require drilling new holes, it's an Energy Suspension polyurethane mount #3-1108 in gold plated or the #3-1132 in chrome plated. This mount is used as a transmission mount in many GM applications, also used on Jeeps. I just installed one on my Jeep several weeks ago
