Default Re: '61 Dana 44 BOM?

I think my numbers are old but the wizard posted by James is what you want. I get Kit YK D44-Rear or ZBK D44-Rear. I used spyder kit ZIKD44-S-30. (30 spline). I see that PN on the Randy's site also. The extra bearings for set up ,I think, are Carrier=cone 25577/cup 25520 D and Pinion= cone 02872/cup 02820

The ZK D44-Rear has Koyo bearings and YK has Timken.

Could not find a shim pack on that site.
My box says U.S. Gear which is associated with Yukon Gear.
Classic Truck Parts now has quite a selection of differential parts for Spicer Dana 44. Check out Jake's info. I believe 60-62 stuff might be different than 63-66.

Axle bearing 514003 (O'Reilly's). This is the kind with a pressed on collar. To remove old, you drill a hole partial way thru and split with a chisel.

There is your BOM. If a wizard only has 1/2T 4X4/K10, I pick that and use the rear parts. Same diff as 2X4.
