I agree with TJ that a lot of these guys (and gals too) don't realize the potential and the value of having and owning a Big Block V-6. These engines are becoming more rare every day, and all that can be done should be done to preserve those that are left. While the 350 V-8 is a well known and respected engine, they are a dime a dozen as far as I am concerned, and replacing a salvageable Big Block V-6 with a 350 only decreases the collectibilty value of these historic old trucks. For cryin out loud, if you can save your V-6, by all means do so. Don't ruin the value of your old truck by replacing that Big Block V-6 with a 350 V-8! It may be a bit expensive, but I can guarantee you it will all be woth it in the long run!
