Default 305 V6 into a 1950 Chevy 1-ton?
My 63 GMC is sitting in need of severe body work, in the mean time I was wondering if the 305 V6 will fit into a 1950 Chevy 1-ton Panel truck? I have the truck and it has a 235 L6 in it now and I want to keet the GMC motor fresh by running it often. The mount for the L6 is in the front and on the rear belhousing,I belive the trans. Would the V6 fit and what mods would need done. These Chevy/GMC trucks seem to be very popular with V8 in them and I'd bet a V6 big block would almost look natural. Any ideas please comment.
