, that does give you a ballpark figure on the year, though it could have been cast in the fall of 1967 which would make it a 68. The only person that's good at figuring the year of these V6 engines is Lewis Matkin. I gave him several different engine ID numbers that were stamped not cast on the right front side of the block and he got them all correct. One of them was the block to my 478 that I had thought was a 71 but turned out to be a 68 same year as my truck

Ah ok, I'll see if I can get some numbers. 67, 68 I don't care....I just like to say I have the engine with the extra 10 hp. LOL!
