Default A reasonable price

Well, I had been busy doing chores and catching up on projects all morning. Then it was off to my sister's house for my brothers' BD.

Finally get home late evening and jump on the CL for some wishful searching. Low and behold a "GMC v6" search turned up the elusive and usually astronomically priced Plaid Valve covers. Pictures in the ad were poor but the price was nice; $60.

I called and the guy said there were no cracks and they looked good. It was late and I was going to wait till the morning, but I decided to go get them tonight. They appear to be in great condition without any cracking that you sometimes see around the base and mounting holes. Here are some pics to share. I've not cleaned them up yet.

Wow, they look to be in great shape! That is a real good price from what little I know about them, congrats!

Good score for sure F61. You mentioned you'd have to clean them up. From the pix they look very clean already. Craigslist is my life!

Thanks Guys, Yea it was just chance and luck, but I will accept either one.
Here they are again cleaned up.

I always thought the vinyl (?) covering was thicker but it seems thin.

Good score!

I have only been able to find one pair and they were $200 and had some visible scratches.

Those look great! That's what I need to add to my truck. Maybe there is one less person looking for them now. Good score!
