V6 in 1949-54 chevy sedan
This may seem somewhat stupid, but I am looking into installing a 305 V6 into a 1949 Chevy coupe. Does any one know if it is possible?
The weight of the inline doesn't differ that much from the V6, but would there be oil pan space issues? Thanks -Ben |

Re: V6 in 1949-54 chevy sedan
Anything is possible, I remember seeing a 305 V6 stuck in a 1951 Plymouth. The GMC V6's 60 degree compact design is ideal for tight and narrow engine compartments.
