'64 Canadian fire department van
As posted on another site by the owner, who describes it as follows: "Chassis built in 1963 and VIN code indicates a '63 Chevy but titled as a '64. Built by Vancouver International Truck builders. 283 V8 runs and sounds good, 4spd tranny is a bit stiff, HUGE PTO driven winch in the rear under the floor. Dash gauges are from an AD truck which is odd as most '60s vans I've seen used TF gauges."

Re: '64 Canadian fire department van
Boy-O-Boy.....that thing is in remarkable shape.....Very unique.
That's too bad about the windshield...I'll bet that it will be quite a challenge to replace it. But the rest is sure in tact. I can't remember ever seeing that model of Van. |
