Default 351 V6 - Running too Rich?

Any advice on tuning up my 351? I'm new to working on engines, it runs and drives, but seems to backfire when I get on the gas. My father in law said it might have a carb issue or maybe a distributor issue because he thinks it's getting too much gas.

Any ideas what the carb rebuild kit number is, or the carb #? All I could find was -
"Bendix Stromberg Model WWC"

Thanks bro. So if I get a carb rebuild kit with this number, I'll be good to go!

Here is the direct link to those part numbers.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,5964

Those were just some of the numbers listed; follow that link to double check.

All done, rebuilt the carb, new ignition, coil, runs great, sounds great.
Just seems to be a cold starter, have to use a quick shot of starting fluid.
