Default Output shaft

I have a 1963 GMC 4000 series truck and I broke the output shaft coming out of the back of the 4 speed transmission. Does anyone know where I can find a parts manual or something that would have diagrams?

I think X-6223 on this page will have what you're looking for. They're about $40 on Ebay.

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will come along and beat me over it

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

Which transmission?
I might have the diagrams you are looking for. I used to have parts of my manuals scanned and online but when I changed hosts direct links no longer seem to work, permissions are different. But if I have what you need I could find a way to make them available.

I have a '63 4000 rusting away here for lack of energy to work on it. And lack of money... mostly lack of money. (***, when did money become the ruler of my life? My wife is supposed to be in charge!! )

I should have asked locally first, a friend had what I was looking for. Thanks for the input. I wanted an expanded diagram of what is in there before I tear into it so I wouldn't get surprised. Those old Chevy/GMC trucks were quite common up here in potato country. Now all I have to do is find a junk.
