Default Restore recreate create plaid valve covers

Has anyone found someone or a place to create or wrap plaid valve covers.

I drove by a sign place the other day that claimed.....

"We can wrap anything"

They do vehicle wraps. I think I'll challenge them.

they wrap enclosed trailers with rivets so valve covers should be easy.

I think the biggest issue is finding a wrap material the is heat resistant.

I have two pairs of plaid valve covers. Last year at Turkey Rod Run I spoke with a guy that does hydro dipping, he thought that’s what mine were. His comment was the hard part would be finding the matching pattern.

I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand, I love to see quality reproduction of sometimes called "rare" items because that assists all of us in re-creating the past accurately. On the other hand, I kind of like knowing that all the Plaid Valve covers remaining on the earth today are 100% part of the only run of them that was ever made - every set you see are originals and with the low number produced, considered to be a rarity in GM history.

So, if you can get a heat resistant wrap reproduced to match the originals, I think that is very cool, but if you can't that might actually be even better
