88-91 Suburbans are still the 73-87 classic square body pickup truck chassis and body, hence 73-87 trucks and 73-91 Suburbans are good donors. In the van bodies, they carried on the older 70's body&chassis even longer than the Suburban, as I believe one of my old work vans was a 1996 and still the old body style! Van crossmembers are of no use to us, I was just referencing the delay of GM rolling out the newer body style in various vehicle lines.
