That's my GMC - yes that cam I had ground to bigblock V6;s specs - engine really wakes at about 2500 rpm and from there on it's pretty strong with a Powerglide behind it. Engine started life as a 351E - installed new 379 pistons with custom made longer rods - Holley 500 carb - exhaust system is 2 1/4" with H pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Old girl turns lots of heads even before they see me. Thanks, Cliff

That's cool! Did you have comp cams do it?

Glad to hear the cam worked out good in your V6. Old BarryGMC heard about my custom cam specs and was spreading a rumor that those were just stock cam specs

Sounds like a lot of overlap. Is there enough vacuum for power brakes?
How does it transition from idle circuit. With the limited RPM range of the V6 are there real gains . I am just asking. Dave. Sure sounds cool!
