Default Pertronix

Do you really have to pull out the distributor to install the igniter? If so how to you get to the hold down bolt? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks
Greg

I've installed several of them, and never had to pull a distributor. Installation should take less than a half hour.

To get to the hold-down bolt to adjust timing, a special wrench helps. See https://www.amazon.com/Vim-Tools-V11.../dp/B000TQ522Q for some examples.

Thanks Ed!! I got it in. I did cut one of my 9/16 to get the hold down bolt out but it was easy even for me and I’m not mechanical inclined. Seems to run smoother too.
