Default Bearings

There is a reason I collect extra engines to keep my obsolete engines running without breaking the bank. First of all custom parts are expensive!!! Second there is a surprising amount of good standard sized stuff floating around. Blocks, cranks etc. One thing that has always been tough are bearings. However if you have good standard sized stuff you can rebabbit your used bearings. I do my own and have no desire to do it for others, but there are a lot of shops that do this all of the time. Look into it. Its common in the antique engine world. Barry
