Hey Jake, I have seen stereo dual cone speakers sold to fit these trucks in some catalog they sent me. I will see if I can find it. I need to get one also. May I ask how you are getting to FM in an AM chassis? I am planning to do the same. Factory correct looks, but FM from the speaker. Greg Mead

I made my own brackets. One under the dash attached with bonded T-nuts that held two speakers (I think they were 3.5" dia speakers). Then I also made two additional speaker brackets, one for the drivers side and the other on the passenger side, which held one of the same speaker on each side.

I posted pictures of my install on this site several years ago. Let me know if you're interested or have trouble finding them. Stereo - Secret hidden installation http://6066gmcclub.com/forum/album.php?albumid=30

you may be disappointed with your new dual cone speaker if using the factory radio to power it - I bought one from LMC same as you did, and it sounds worse than the original because of the weak radio wattage or just because it sucks - not sure which, but I wont be buying any more of them - hope you have better luck than I did!

I did't have factory mounts. What I did I used two long machine bots # 8 or 10s through the speaker grill. Center the best I could slots in speaker had to offset by one slot.this aligned the holes in speaker to radio side of dash. Windshield side I used perferrated band attached to the top screws on the wiper body. Nice tight. No vibrations with the after market radio. Fits the dash opening great. Has a GMC ON FACE
