I removed 8 bolts and the thing feels like its welded on. its not rusted that i can see. Is there a special way of removing it?

I'm not sure how many bolts hold it on, but once every thing is removed it should lift straight up, mite be stuck and need a bit of a pry on the underside to brake it loose, but be sure you have removed all the bolts first. double and triple check, you don't want to be braking stuff.

I just pulled one tonight, I removed the bolt and smacked it with a hammer and it came right off.

I'm pulling the Piston & Rods out of this junk 305 to be givin away next month as awards at the Willard Round-up.

Ok, thanks. I gave up because I forgot I didn't have a new gasket yet haha, but
she is running just needs a new fuel pump.

Someone will tell you different if Im wrong but Im pretty sure you can use blue RTV Silicone to seal the intake down if you dont have or cant buy gaskets.
