It has been awhile since I have checked in, so an update is in order.
I was t-boned in my '65 1500 by a red light runner on July 19th, he hit me just behind the cab on the right side so hard it spun me around and into another car, both cars were totaled. My bed (homemade flatbed) was pushed into the back of the cab (creased it pretty good but repairable), bent the cab mounts, and bent the frame (seems to drive OK) and put a hole in the tire (I changed the tire and drove it home).
I got cash, hooray the guy had insurance!
I spent some of my cash on a '65 2500 from Lake Havasu City, that required a road trip with the wife (those of you who know my wife Merrit know this will cost me later)

Kinda like the flatbed...

My next one will be a 4x4. A flatbed would be perfect!

Original Arizona truck, bought new in Kingman, spent it's whole life (until now) in Lake Havasu, not much rust, even on the fenders too bad they are both damaged.

I like the flatbeds, although a new one is in the works for "Little Yellow", and it would be really neat to have a 4X4, but that is about the only thing that I didn't get on my wishlist.

Glad to hear you are okay Kyle and I trust you're still rocking a 401 in the new truck? Give my best to Merrit.

Yep, the 401 will be going into "Little Yellow" along with the Ranger overdrive. By the way I bought Merrit a 1964 Cutlass earlier this year, she loves it, I never get to drive it.
