Paint break?

[Texas63GMC]

I'm painting the "grill support panel" and know that originally they were black on the flat portion, and body color elsewhere. Where is the paint line supposed to be? I looked at Arthur's gallery of 1961 fenderside but couldnt tell. Pics would be great!
