Is this setup supposed to have a pilot bearing? or a bushing?, found bearing on the floor after disassemble. Not sure how long it had been there. What is the Part number for bushing or bearing? Thanks.

It takes a bearing, If I can dig up an old one I have I'll see if it's got a part number. Funny I bought one back in 2001 at Pep Boys that was hanging on a rack, just looked at it by chance and was surprised it was listed for the GMC V6.

Thanks, I may have found it to be 7109. I forgot to check Jolly's known numbers and low and behold he has it and so does O'Reilly's listed for a 66 Olds 330 V8? Came into it sideways. I am going to check the given sizes against the one I found on the floor: ID, OD thkness. Will advise. Thank you for the reply.

The bearing I have measures exactly the same as 7109. I will try to remember to check Jolly's known numbers next time. thanks BBV6.

Just checked my receipts and 7109 is the correct number for the pilot bearing.
