What size overbore piston will you need? One of our former members had a source for V6 pistons in Sacramento Cal. I will try to get a hold of him and see what we can come up with.

The machine shop will want the pistons in hand before they bore the block. I have a set of oversized pistons, no rings, if you are interested I will check on the size, just let me know.

hi

just wanted to share what I had to do to get pistons for my V6 rebuild the past winter of 2013 and 2014

ordered brand new pistons from Ariss Pistons in California , they make them from scratch as they specialize in racing pistons

they come with 4 rings per piston precisely measured, not cheap of course, but awesome pistons for a tired old block that needs them

they have all the specs in file for the V6 GMC engine

I've known of Arias being a custom piston manufacturer but not heard of Ariss?
