I recently purchased a 64 gmc suburban. the instrument cluster has a guage that says motor monitor, I have not found any pictures or info on this gauge, apears to be oringinal. Does any else have one? or know of them . Thanks. Bob

Your gauge may be a vacuum gauge. Do you have pictures?

You definitely have a vacuum gauge there. Here is a link to a similar one on Ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Stewart-Warner-2-5-8-inch-greenline-Motor-Minder-Vacuum-Gauge-/370624355477). It looks like an expensive add on. Congratulations!
To polish it you can remove the cluster and use a mild rubbing compound or toothpaste to remove scratches to the plastic viewing window.

This particular gauge is aftermarket, GMC did offer a vacuum gauge that could be dealer installed but it's numerals were exactly the same block style as the GMC/Sun RC5A Tach
