Nice Pickup, I'm guessins its not a "C" model, more like an "E" or "H" model.

Being that it is a 305E would put the truck at being an E-4500. E-5500 and 6500 would have 305C or 351C engines.

Taking that you have the original engine I recognized yours as a 305E by the water pump housing, the C engines have a higher mounted water pump housing specifically for larger truck applications and have 4 ring pistons rather than 3. Look at the engine ID number stamped on the front of the block just below the right cylinder head.

Good to see a larger cab truck, looks like a fun rig to own. I have a 1967 EM-4500 and your cab looks the same, mine is a 92" BBC (92" from front bumper to back of cab). My truck has a oil field bed with a winch.

I created a picture album titled "Nate's 1967 GMC EM4500, it has some problems (huge pics when you open the album pictures). I will see if I can fix them later, this computer is giving me a headache.

This truck is so awesome. It's like a bulldog and a truck had a baby. Pure muscle and work! Like Ron I got a workout turning my monitor sideways and back trying to make out the pics but they were worth it. How's she drive? Like a big truck or like a pickup?
