I have to replace the fuel tank in my '66. I'm not having much luck finding a direct replacement. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?? Thanks!

Truck ones are on Ebay all the time. Where is it located on the burb? And how many gallons is it? I'll see if I can find one for ya.

Here's one for a chibby that might work. You've have to look at the particulars though

The suburban fuel tanks are not reproduced. You'll have to buy used or adapt one from a Blazer;

Just Google has tank repair. Most vintage cars have no replacement tanks available. A friend of mine who restores Packards uses Moyer gas tank repair. I think he is in Pennsylvania.

Lmc and classic parts, offer a tank for pickups that mount under the frame like suburbans for people that do not want the tank behind the seat,

Is your tank rusted thru, or just gunked up? I pressure washed my tank, then used muratic acid until clean, and lined it with red coat.
