That may have actually been a consideration, If I'm not mistaken GMC engineer "Cleary" did bring that up but GMC was working on replacing the 702 V12 with the 637 V8 that was built from the ground up as a Diesel and converted to a gas engine as well:ok:

There was a 351 toro flow for sale here and it was a runner. Still wished I would have picked it up. :banghead:
