Here are photos of the brackets for A/C & P/S. I wanted to get them both done at the same time. The Alternator is using the Factory set-up. The Compressor & P/S can be used together or on their own. The Alternator uses the groove closest to the balancer and the Compressor & P/S can use either the second or third groove. There will be enough adjustment on the Compressor bracket to use either groove. Also, the P/S will come with 2 spacers to enable you to use both grooves on the pulley. I am also sorting out the possibilities of aftermarket pulleys in case you don't have the proper ones. Please any feedback is greatly appreciated. Hopefully, the next time I post everything will be available. This final process will take about 3 weeks according to the laser cutter. I think that it may need and idler pulley if we cannot find a source for a triple groove pulley for the balancer. I will figure it out when I have the system on the running engine. John

Very nice! One thing, will that P/S bracket work with the original style P/s Pump?

To be honest with you, I don't know which pump was used. If you can tell me what was on originally or a picture would help. John

I don't have original pump but I do have original bracket. It should show it on the pictures I sent you awhile back.

I took that assembly off a 1978 GMC pick-up with a small block. What I am making are 2 rear braces, some spacers and a bolt kit for the pump, to make it easier to install this assembly. Although, I will have some brackets & pumps for anyone who does not want to do the legwork. This pump will enable you to run off the 1st. balancer pulley or the second one, if you have a 3 pulley system. Still working on the hardest part. THE PULLEYS. John

Here is a pic of my 66 power steering. The pump, pulleys, and brackets came off of a 305 v-6, do not know what year.

Thanks for the photo, If someone has this set up which uses this pump, it looks like it will work with the compressor mount I am making. The only thing I would make the adjustment on the front support where it would bolt to the backside of the upper mount of the P/S pump bracket. It s not a problem. John
