Round about 750 pounds of dogs and gear (and a cooler full of beer, of course.)
120 mile trip and it sat on 50 the whole way. Pretty good result for its first big outing I reckon.

First photo is at the start. The second is just before my first post drive beer. We took it nice and easy. Just over 3 and a half hours overall.

Funnily enough we passed an old Chevy stepside along the way. It was left hand drive also. Bit of a small world really.

Believe it or not we used to do this trip in a little VW golf.... Dogs and all lol

Look great. Are you checking your gas mileage? Just wondering.

Pretty much a full tank. So around 10 mpg or so I think.

We made it back safe and sound.... All of the dogs are some form of mutt LOL

They've got something over here called a 'Bull Arab' that's essentially a cross between a mastiff and whatever else was lying around. 1 of the 3 has a good deal of greyhound that's come out. Another looks like there's some Dane in him. The 3rd looks more like a Mastiff, but not quite as large (at about 80 lbs he's the runt of the 3).

They're great dogs. A bit of a handful though..... all rescues and all spoiled LOL
