Hello all,
I'm having a bit of an issue finding the ID number on my carb.
If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. Somehow I just know it'll be staring me right in the face LOL

Some ww carbs have what appears to be a washer on the top right hand front side with numbers stamped on them, also the top body of the carb in the same location will have numbers stamped on it, usually a 5 digit number for instance it may resemble this number 23-195.:ok:

The only number I can find is on a small, round button head type thing. It's on the left hand side (if you're facing the vehicle).
It looks nothing like what I would've expected?

There is a stamp on the back. But, there's no ID number.

That's not the number and apparently the washer with th OD number may have been removed at some point.

I was worried you'd say something along those lines LOL
If I was looking to get a rebuild kit, do you have any suggestions as to how I can go about trying to make sure I get the right one?

Post a pic of the front of the carb so I can see which accelerator pump plunger and bracket you have, I may be able determine a ball park figure of what year it may be and we'll go from there.

ok the accelerator plunger is the type that came in the late 60's 305E engines, exactly the same as my 68 once had, I can get you the model number this weekend when I get home. I'm pretty sure a rebuild kit for a 68 will work:upyes:
