So the roll is 2.5 ft long. That's plenty and not a bad price at all.

My friend does hydrocal on all sorts of car and bike parts. They hold up to heat very well. I'll have him do a set for me.

You can check his facebook page and ask him any questions, not en endorsement, but I trust him to do mine.

No he does not, he can order a roll and quote me 150 for a set of valve covers. A
He needs the cover cleaned to speed up the process, **** make sure they are cleaned moreso once he recieves them.

I’ve received my roll in the mail, even though I’m not sure how I’m going to get it applied yet - curiosity, I guess. Compared to the original, which is 1” squares (measured on yellow lines), this pattern measures 3/4” squares. Not sure if the hydro dip process expands the material (I doubt it), but other than that it looks pretty nice so far. Time will tell, if I can get it applied?!

Well, I haven’t gotten it applied yet. Have checked through the state, but yet to find someone to do it. I wonder if it’s diy friendly? Thanks for reminding me on this, back to the computer....

Thanks for the response...this one is on my (long) list of stuff to do so I'll be interested to hear how it goes when the time comes.
