Hi all, like to introduce myself. My name is Steve and I live in Washington State. Been wrenching since the 70s and have done a few vehicles, the last was a cab off 53 5 window. If I'm lucky, tomorrow I will be a owner of a GMC. Will let you all know if it comes to fruition. :signthankspin:

Thank you all, yes it is the infamous omaha orange. I'll be doing a halloween gig this year with hay and pumpkins, lol.
Traveled over 425 miles today to pick up my next project. Allow me to introduce to you a 1964 -127" wheelbase series 1002 Custom cab half ton- built in the Oakland plant. It has the 305 big block V6 and SM420 transmission. It has 39601 original miles and completely rust free. You dont know how long I have been looking for this truck. I'm a pretty happy camper. Looking forward to a lot of good old hard work and fun with this truck.

Your omaha orange truck reminds me of an early '50s Chevy panel truck that a friend and I painted orange with brushes about 45 years ago. We called it the "Great Pumpkin".
I see the Oregon plate on your new acquisition. Whereabouts in Oregon did you find it?

Joe, that is hilarious, you come to Washington to get your trucks and I have gone to Oregon to get two of my trucks now. There is not a lot of good pickings on the west side of the cascades in Washington. Less in the future, they have started to salt the roads in my area. Looks like yours is really straight, good luck and have fun with it.
