The cast parts should have date codes. Jolly data is slim on 351C.

My Dad had a new 351C installed in his one ton Suburban which I have now, before he even took delivery of it in 1965. The engine number is 032399. Since yours is a lower number, I would guess it's older than mine.

The only other one I could find in Jolly's lists was a 1961 truck with 351C number 011332 which is a lot closer to your number. Taking a wild guess here, your 351C could be from a 1962 truck.

Thnx all for the info, the engine was sitting outside of a '66 commercial rig when I picked it up, the main reason I am questioning the year is if I replace the timing chain/gears, there is a difference in part numbers/chain length starting in '66, found lots of numbers cast into heads/block but nothing with a specific year tied to them.
