My column-shifted 65 c1000 needs the steering column rebuilt. It shifts very hard and is sloppy. The turn signal cam is broken the whole signal assembly moves when I shift. I am going to replace the bearings, both the shifter grommets, the cam, and install a smaller steering wheel. While I am pretty good at working through mechanical problems, I have never rebuilt a column before. Any good advice before I dig into it?
