Purchased my truck about a year and a half ago, been slowly getting things back in operation. Currently, the tach and speedometer do not work and haven't for quite some time. Trying to look for replacement cables in case they're needed but not having much luck online. Any help would be appreciated.

Very Kool Truck ScottMSharp!

You also have the rare tach which I think is controlled by a transmitter box unless you have a gear drive for it.

Cables I have purchased were from eBay but that was a while back. I believe there is a company online that can make them to order, but I can't recall the name.

Anymore details on your truck and photos of the engine bay?

I had a new tach cable built for my 1966 GMC 351 V6. The company was:
Texas Industrial Electric
San Antonio, Texas
I have the contact email and phone# if you need it. I also have all the cable specs recorded as they needed them to build cable since I didn't have an old one for a pattern. The cable runs off the back of the camshaft.

Funky61,
It was built by a local truck repair shop, Kayes' Motors, in Portville, NY. Sold to Ellicottville Volunteer Fire Department in 1965 and remained in service until it was sold locally in 2006. It sat in a barn until I purchased it in October 2024. It's got a 305E V6 and 4 speed transmission.
