Where is a turn signal switch on a 62?? I keep seeing internet info saying down at bottom'ish of column, cable actuated and I see folks saying it's up top inside the bell. GMC was changing things 60-63 a lot. The vendors seem to be selling 60-62 as a down the column switch, cable actuated.

Another question, will a 64-66 column fit a 62 as a bolt on? No mods?

On my 62 it's up on the column with the steering wheel. I have no idea what a cable actuated one would even look like.
No idea if you can swap columns though.

Here are some cable actuated photos. This system is on my 61 and I’ll need to check my 62 to see if it has the same system. It was an optional item.

My 62 does not have the cable.

Photo of column and add on turn signal unit at top of column with some
letters/ markings. May be helpful for researching online.

Yes I have read that. According to that, it's inside the bell. Not the same as Chevy and not available. Sweet.
