Looks like Goulding's has been in business since 1923:

Would be interesting to see photos of all the tour vehicles they've used over the years.

Here's a cool one: http://www.t137.com/archives/wwwboar...s/4691083.html

Thanks Ed, for some reason I get an error message with my old PC on the first link, but I did get a look at it on my newfangled android phone. Sounds like they have a lot of tour packages! That's a great pic in the second one! Pretty cool truck! It would have been a blast to ride in or drive that bus!

Hope your family is doing well and have a great Thanksgiving! Were you able to buy that '68?(I think it was a '68?)

I had to go out of town on family business for a couple of weeks. Before I left I had finally (after trying to buy it for a year) negotiated a price with the owner of the '67. When I got back I found out that the bum sold it to somebody else while I was gone. Needless to say, I was not happy! And he refuses to give me any contact info for the new owner.

So if anybody out there has a lead on a nice half ton 2WD '67, let me know.

You have a great Thanksgiving too, Doug!

I just had to post this pic I ran across on Facebook a week or two ago. That is one of the most macho trucks I've ever seen!

Reminds me of another macho truck, Doug -- same number of driven wheels.

That is one heavy truck. It's a 6500, believe it is a '62 which would be the first year for the 6500 and the 478 V-6 both.

Someone, possibly the owner himself, has posted it on the other truck site.

Beautiful shape to boot.

Quite a long time back I posted a few pics of the Don Garlits GMC push truck. I ran across another one on FB tonight. The second pic is also from FB awhile back, from the "Historic Vehicle Association's" page.

I think these technically fit in the GM photos from history category. These are the factory clay mockups for preproduction on our models. I've only posted the one that I think really are different.

here are some more. I have a lot more and will create a photo bucket album. I find it amazine that they were planning the "flat Hood" as early at august 1960
