Welcome Russyyc!

From the Jolly Page and specifically for Canadian; Let us know how it works and a photo of the truck would be nice too!

I have vin numbers listing in my factory assembly manual, what is the number?

P45 indicates step van 1-8 for ton rating.

the problem with the manual it that its more Chevy than GMC as far as information

What the heck is everybody talking about? I don't see any numbers to cypher? Slingbox? Beautiful phone? TIA, P45? Lets work on our communication skills when asking a long distance question, aye?

I don't see 14 digits anywhere in the question.

I don't see what Jagarra wants to know.

What is wrong with everybody but me ...........and Merry Christmas.

5=1965..........C= Cab and chassis?.....9= GMC.....1504= Short bed, fender side......6= 6 cylinder......19284= production number..........A= 6000 GVW or less. (5000 GVW)

That's a casting number. Notice the conversation about "green paint". You will need the number on pad near dizzy.
Probably Canadian motors have the same numbers as USA. Some castings have alpha numeric date codes to narrow it down and other numbers stamped or cast will help. Also the known motors for 1965 is available. Use your google and your noodle.
