Diesel manifolds?

Hello and good morning. I have a 401(not sure its a magnum or no since ive been on the road since bought) and need exhaust manifolds. Ive got a 351 Toroflow...anybody have some manifolds or know if I can use the exhaust manifolds from the diesel? I'm running home for two weeks between jobs and want to get the 401 ready, running and dropped in.

Here's a couple off EBay that fit a Magnum

Re: Diesel manifolds?

The first ebay listing shows 351E Magnum style, the second are the non Magnum small port used on larger trucks. What you need to determine is if you have a Magnum 401 from 66-72 or small port 401 from 60-65

Re: Diesel manifolds?

Looks like the large port with the I beam style manifold. Came with the big stromberg too, with the trapezoid base. Never had enough time to really pay attention. It was cheap, running when pulled and resealed, and on my way home. Lets assume magnum. Ports are pretty big.

Then go with the first ebay listing, even though those were not the I beam style the ports match:thumbsup:

Re: Diesel manifolds?

There are a lot of differences in the mounting of the manifolds and port dimension on the ToroFlow engine vs the gas version, so that won't work.
