Slave assy for 66 GMC 4000
 

Hello all new to the site, after a month of searching the Google I finally broke down and am asking. I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of the part number for a slave assembly for a 66 GMC 4000, 351 V6 engine and 5 speed transmission. Any and all of my local auto stores only go to a 3500 and nothing with the 5 speed.

Are all of the slave assemblies the same for every 5 speed used isn’t the era? Was it used for any other vehicle?

Thanks, I’ll try to cross reference at Napa tomorrow. At least it is a different number than I have tried before.

@gmcjuniorvan I do see that part number in the parts manual as well, as a reference, but Napa cannot cross reference it for a new one.

Anyone know where I can get such a part, or a rebuild kit?

If I cannot purchase new or parts, anyone recommend a good rebuilding outfit?

I have used this outfit to sleeve a Motorcycle master, they show doing repairs on auto stuff as well.

You guys are the best, that worked to cross reference to a Napa part. Hopefully it works!
