I, personally, am not a fan of having to post my name and town after each message mostly because I don't want to have to write it every time. I think since this type of forum gives you a profile and that profile states where you are and can receive private messages, hopefully we will not have to write it in our messages every time. Just my .02.

Corts60, you can set a sig in the Used PC, thats how mine works on this forum like you see below, you just add it there once and it post all by its self....

Cort, you also have your location and truck in each post automatically to the right.

Either should be fine for people knowing where you are :)

Hey Jeannie, I tried making a signature in the user CP and it is saved there but it is not showing up in my posts...? Am I doing something wrong?

Cort, it might be cached in your browser. I see this under your posts:

You might try hitting "refresh" on your browser and see if it shows up.

I am a die hard GMC addict. Unfortunately none of the 4 I have fit here, but I love the knowlege and history of these trucks as well as my other ones. I have been a member here for a lot of years, and a 1960 GMC Suburban is responsible for my Mom eventually getting her own GMC then I got one. Now I have her's too and it's all because of that '60.

Jolly put together a great group and I am glad to see it go this way as my blood pressure doesn't need yahoo. Here is a couple of pics.

pic2-1962 K2500 project I had to sell in 2007 to raise some money to help Mom out. Ugly but a great running 305E and drivetrain.

I am familiar with this problem from other sites. As you probably have already realized, once you create your Signature, you need to create or respond to a post for it to work.

Thanks Jeanie for all your work here. Seems lately lot's of changes happening.
I set my email for Dailey digest. will this work for all new post's? Or just threads I have subscribed too? I like to see all new posts, but not get an email for each one every time a new post is posted. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for all your hard work!

Hi Tim,

The subscription setting is for the forum posts you're interested in. The "every post emailed to you" is a different thing we set up to make things like Yahoo.

If you have problems with it send me your email address in a PM and I'll manually remove you. It will send you a confirmation if you're removed.

Hi, been long time for me to be here. No GMC's at moment, Fire truck with Hydo-flo long gone. Just heard about the new forum and had to rejoin. Little diff name, but similar. It is more like my favorite Tractor forums now. Not sure what happened to Yahoo, still on many groups there and have no big issues, but others are leaving fast. They need to update to this style program or other to compete.

For Jolly or whomever has helped me get back in, guess I finally made it. Didnt have luck other day, but now it did work and am here. This is my first post. Seeya!
