305 vs 365 e engine?
 
So, new twist on my 64 fleetside...
I recieved a pkg with the manuals and other material about the truck. The manual says a 365E engine... ring any bells ?

Maybe a misprint? Your 64 would probably have a 305E series engine

That has to be a misprint. This is from Jolly's "6066 GMC Guy" website: "The GMC 6-cylinder 60 degree V-type engine has two banks of cylinders with overhead valve mechanism.

Engines used in Vehicles covered on this page are designated as, 305A,
305B, 305C, 305D, 305E, 351, 351E, 401, 478, 702 V12."

If there had been a 365E engine, I'm sure Jolly would have it listed in the engine specifications on his site.

Right, never heard of a 365. Probably just a typo meaning 305.
