Wikipedia Correction
 

I made a Wikipedia Correction today. First one ever. I really was never sure that I could, lol. They had the year wrong for the Introduction of the 478 in the 6500 at '63. Although I had always believed it was '62, it took a while to hash it back and forth on different forums that indeed the first year of it was the '62.

How I knew for sure is that I used to drive one. The company I drove for bought it brand new.

Here is the change I made (last line):

The 477.7-cubic-inch (7,828 cc) 478 was one of the largest V6 engines ever built. Gross output was 235 hp (175 kW) at 3200 rpm and 440 lb·ft (597 Nm) at 1400 rpm. Bore was 5.125 in (130.2 mm) and stroke was 3.859 in (98.0 mm). It was introduced in 1962 in the 6500 series trucks".
