64 with A/C ?
 

The 64 1000 I recently purchaced has A/C ,the guy I bought it from said it was factory installed or dealer installed.Was A/C offered in a 64 1000?.This unit is mounted under the dash and is very basic,3 fan speeds,A/C on off.Also this truck doesn't have much of a heater,just fan on,off and a manual damper.

AC was offered by the dealer and as a factory installed option starting in 1964. Yours is a dealer installed unit. My 64 longbed had the same thing on it and I am in process of getting the missing parts put back on so it will operate again. Is yours all complete?

not sure if it is complete, it looks like it is all there,one of the lines has been cut,the compressor feels ok.I will have to reconnect and charge and see what happens.
